About The Job
Responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy for the Process Heat exchanger business in accordance with the assigned targets and SEA Energy Division strategy and targets. Responsible for leading, developing and securing a high performing sales team in line with the Alfa Laval culture.
Job Description
Strategically manage the Process GPHE and WHE business units to exceed sales and profitability targets.
Develop the business by driving relevant sales and business development activities to get the customer Loyalty and satisfaction: Market Analysis, Pricing, Visits, Seminars and other initiatives
Lead a large team, spread across the region, fostering a culture of excellence and aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
Drive our '4 ways to market' strategy, enhancing sales through key customer engagement and partnerships.
Drive sales initiatives with key customers, EPCs, consultants and licensors within the SEA region.
Sales forecasts & budgeting.
Developing business plan and marketing activities.
Collaborate with central business unit colleagues to synchronize strategies and initiatives, ensuring a unified approach to market challenges.
Utilize strong leadership and business acumen to navigate the complexities of the SEA market, setting a benchmark for success.
Ensure effective communication across a diverse, geographically spread team, maintaining cohesion and operational clarity.
Ensure governance and compliances as per the established policies and procedures.
Build external stakeholder networks amongst local institutes, licensors, integrators and end-users as well as relevant non-SEA actors operating or wishing to operate on the SEA market
Interact with the global community including occasional travelling to learn and participate in important global events.
Gather market intelligence and provide inputs for development of long term business plans.
Implement pricing strategy as per the established pricing process.
Establish right technical & commercial support for the team ensuring that they provide a seamless professional customer experience.
What You Know
A proven track record in leadership and team management, preferably within high value & complex industrial capital goods segment.
Experience in working with End users, EPCs, consultants in the process industries like Power, Petrochemical, Pulp & Paper, Chemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas, Clean energy, carbon capture and more.
Exceptional business acumen with a strategic mindset, capable of driving business growth and market expansion.
Outstanding communication & negotiation skills, with proficiency in working across diverse cultures and geographies in the SEA region.
A collaborative spirit, able to forge strong relationships with central business unit colleagues and external partners.
A history of achieving and surpassing business objectives, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team development.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
Fluency in English; additional SEA languages preferred.
