We’re looking for
Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.
As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.
About the Role
Are you a student interested in engineering, sustainability, and real-world problem solving? As a Sales Engineering Intern, you’ll support our team in developing equipment solutions that help customers reduce energy, water use, and waste in the wastewater industry.
In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced engineers and the sales team to assist with equipment sizing, proposal development, and technical support. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to industrial equipment applications, customer interactions, and the full sales support process.
As part of the team, you will:
Support engineers in reviewing customer requirements and learning how to select and size equipment using Alfa Laval’s software tools.
Contribute to preparing proposal packages, including technical information, pricing details, and basic equipment documentation.
Help gather and organize technical specifications, drawings, and supporting documents for customer bids.
Assist with providing technical information to internal teams and channel partners.
Take part in creating or updating training materials that help explain Alfa Laval products, processes, and best practices.
Participate in team meetings, customer discussions (as appropriate), and learning sessions to build industry knowledge.
What You Bring
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, environmental, or related field).
An interest in industrial equipment, sustainability, or the wastewater industry.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn how to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to manage tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines with guidance.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with engineering software is a plus but not required.
Curiosity, teamwork, and desire to learn from technical mentors.
