About The Job
Your focus will be on local HR BP activities in Søborg, with a strong focus on HR Employee Relations tasks. This is a new and important role, that will support our future ambitions, with significant impact on the Søborg site and the overall influence of local HR. It offers strong opportunities for growth and exposure to a wide variety of HR responsibilities, while acting as a trusted partner to local Management and Managing Directors in supporting day-to-day people matters, ensuring compliance, and facilitating effective collaboration with employee and union representatives.
Your responsibilities:
Day-to-day sparring with managers in areas such as performance, termination, sick leave, terms & conditions, compensation packages etc.
Sparring partner and first point of contact in HR for the Managing Directors in Søborg.
Ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, legislation, collective agreements etc.
Engage in formal and informal discussions with local union representatives.
Support management in negotiations with union representatives in relation to local agreements and pay negotiations.
Works closely with the Employee Relations teams and provides HR Support to the other sites (dotted line)
Actively participate in local Work council, HSE-organization, site management, local crisis management team.
Being a part of the Managing Directors team in Soborg but is also dotted line part of the HR Shared Services Team in Denmark.
The role reports to the Managing Director in Alfa Laval Copenhagen with a dotted line HR Shared Services Centre Manager. At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is based at our Søborg office.
What You Know
Relevant educational background within Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience working in an HR Business Partner, Employee Relations, or broader HR generalist role within a complex organizational environment
Experience supporting managers on day-to-day people matters such as performance management, sick leave, terminations, compensation, and terms & conditions
Experience collaborating with employee representatives, workers councils, and/or union representatives, including supporting negotiations and local agreements
Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, written and spoken

You build trust quickly through excellent people and communication skills, and you are confident working closely with managers, employees, unions, and other stakeholders across the organization. You thrive in collaborative environments, are skilled at networking and have positive influence, and enjoy acting as a trusted partner who supports both business and people’s needs.
You are agile, solution-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. With a proactive and problem-solving attitude, you work well both independently and as part of a team, always focusing on delivering results and creating value for the business. You bring a structured approach to your work, are comfortable handling complex employee relations matters, and contribute with professionalism, positivity, and a strong drive to make an impact.
