VACANCY FOR UI/UX DESIGNER

We are looking for an additional member of our developing team, which develops IoT solutions for all Alfa Laval products for our customers. We do this to enable remote support, data visualization, and performance analytics, to improve efficiency, compliance, and sustainability for our customers. Since we have an agile setup, we do all planning and estimation as a team creating the right workload for the team, including product owner, 4 developers, a designer, and a tester. The team collaborates with two others agile IoT teams, so you will become part of a department, with many skilled developers.

Knowledge:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and user flows.
• UI Design: Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand guidelines and enhance the user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior designers, product owners, developers, and other team members to ensure a user-centered design approach.
• Iteration: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, and other data-driven insights.
• Documentation: Maintain and update design documentation, style guides, and design systems to ensure consistency across the platform.

Experience:

4-7 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably with some exposure to IoT platforms or industrial applications.

Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects.
• Ability to guide and assist junior designers
