About the job 

Service in Business Unit Welded and Circular Technology has high priority with a clear growth strategy and focus on improving customer experience. We now need to strengthen our central team to deliver on our business priorities, and this is why we are looking for YOU our next Team Manager. You will be leading a team of competent colleagues, all critical for the daily technical support to meet our customers’ expectations.  

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Lead a team of Senior Product Engineers 

• Develop strong relations with internal and external stakeholders 

• Provide and develop the service execution support to sales companies and the Global Service Sales 

• Operations organization support (Technical helpdesk, commissioning, pilot tests, and advanced troubleshooting) 

• Collaborate with other functions within Alfa Laval to create networks that supports the development to improve and deliver superior customer experience 

• Keep updated info on Web Page related to department 

• Define and own Technical Roadmap and service operations platforms 

• Contribute to the establishment of appropriate global processes and standards that enable continual convergence of processes, tools, and work methods. 

You report to the Global Service Technology Manager, and you should expect 30-40 travel days a year.

What you know 

You have a background in the Energy industry, preferably from After Sales. We are looking for a candidate who is business-oriented and with service experience in technical products and/or solutions, preferably within Decanters & High-Speed Separators. It is an advantage if you have worked in a matrix organization. 

• Engineering or related degree 

• Fluent in English 

• Strong service-oriented personality with good communication and networking skills 

• Strong commercial and technical thinking with good market knowledge.
