About the job
The Strategic Marketing and Insights Analyst supports the strategic agenda by executing marketing and insights activities for assigned business unit(s) within Alfa Laval’s Food & Pharma Division. Reporting to the Strategic Marketing Partner and Insights Manager (SMPI), this role ensures timely and accurate delivery of revenue generation activities and brand positioning activities while driving seamless customer experience.

This is a hybrid opportunity based in Richmond, VA or Houston, TX.

As a part of the team, you will:

  • Drive deep partnership through collaboration with key stakeholders to unlock additional business value

  • Help translate business unit objectives into actionable marketing plans aligned with divisional strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring these to life

  • Drive sales funnel development with customer acquisition and growth opportunities through campaigns, sales enablement, events, product launches and channel partner support

  • Position Alfa Laval as the NA leader in assigned BU’s through events, industry groups and trade associations, public affairs and thought leadership

  • Support business optimization and growth through basic market research, competitor analysis, insights/trend analysis, and market size & share

  • Drive Voice of Customer (VoC) acquisition and analysis

  • Maintain and track KPI’s for BU marketing performance, participating in periodic reviews and checkpoint meetings to update on progress and share findings with stakeholders

What you know:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Data Science or a related field and:

  • Strong analytical skills with ability interpret and convert data into information, presenting findings clearly.

  • Familiarity with marketing concepts and a growth mindset, willing to learn strategic marketing and planning processes.

  • Proficiency in Excel and basic data visualization tools; knowledge of BI tools is a plus.

  • Collaborative and forward-thinking.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Self-starter with curiosity and eagerness to grow in a strategic marketing role.

At Alfa Laval, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine your total compensation package. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The base salary for this role is typically $72,000 - $90,000 annually.
