VACANCY FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - IoT

The position / About the Job:

As Software Development Manager - IoT, you will be responsible for

• Team Leadership: Grow, mentor and lead a high-performing software development team

• Talent Acquisition: Identify and recruit top talent to expand the software development team

• Employee Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team

• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to the development team, ensuring best practices in software design, coding, and testing

• Collaboration: Work closely with HR, recruitment teams, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of new members into the IoT team

• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and software development, and drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team

• Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management, customers and partners to align on team growth and development goals

Knowledge:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field).

Skills:

• Experience: 7-15 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python or similar. Experience in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and frameworks like Angular or React. Knowledge of data analytics tools and platforms such as SQL, Hadoop, Spark or similar.

• Experience with IoT platforms and technologies is a plus

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build and lead a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
