Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

Are you passionate about product strategy, innovation, and turning data into insights, and are you looking for a student job in an international industrial company? Alfa Laval’s Product Portfolio Management & Innovation team is looking for a curious and proactive Student Assistant to support our global portfolio managers.

About the team

You will join a dedicated and experienced team working with product portfolio management across several technologies, including decanters, heat exchangers, evaporators, sludge thickeners and digital services in the water and industrial food sectors. We work closely with R&D, sales and service companies and other stakeholders to secure strong product offering and successful innovation projects.

Your responsibilities

You will support portfolio managers and the team in a variety of tasks, such as:

  • Support key strategic initiatives by:

    • Acting as project manager and ensuring progress.

    • Aligning and communicating with involved stakeholders.

    • Ensuring proper documentation and presenting insights and results.

    • Running desk research on specific topics.

  • Support Portfolio Managers by:

    • Helping coordinate activities around new product development projects.

    • Supporting quality, pricing and competence development activities.

    • Prepare meeting material, minutes and status updates.

    • Updating key documents and roadmaps.

    • Prepare regular KPI reports and dashboards.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues, gain insight into product portfolio management and innovation processes, and build a strong understanding of Alfa Laval’s business.

Who are you?

We imagine that you:

  • Are currently enrolled in a Danish university (e.g. engineering, business, economics, industrial engineering/management or similar).

  • Have at least 1.5 years left of your studies before graduation.

  • Can work from our Søborg office 2 days per week.

  • Are comfortable working in an international environment; corporate language is English.

On a personal level, you:

  • Are proactive and able to find your way around the organization, involving the right stakeholders and not stopping at the first obstacle.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

  • Work in a structured way and can manage several tasks in parallel.

  • Are confident using Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word; experience with data handling/visualization is an advantage).

What we offer

  • A relevant student job in a global, market-leading company.

  • Flexibility around exam periods.

  • Hands-on experience with portfolio management, innovation and data-driven decision making.

  • A supportive environment where you can learn, grow and expand your professional network.

Practical information & how to apply

Please send your CV and a short-motivated application in English, including:

  • Your current field of study and expected graduation date.

  • Your availability (start date and preferred working days).

Apply as soon as possible, as we review applications on an ongoing basis.
