About the job

Got a passion for digital ecosystems?
Alfa Laval is a great company to grow and develop in. Following our colleague’s internal promotion, we are looking for our next Digital Enterprise Manager who will bring expertise and storytelling skills!

This is a global role where you truly will make an impact and create real value. With us, you will get to shape how business needs are translated into practical digital solutions, connecting across different businesses and technical teams, influencing initiatives from demand specification through implementation, deployment and adoption.

You will manage a broad and diverse portfolio of digital initiatives, often involving multiple topics and stakeholders in parallel. A key responsibility is supporting the integration and evolution of products, tools and business capabilities within the company’s digital ecosystem. This includes creating and implementing our business unit digital road map, leading implementations and migrations, and contributing to the maintenance of business-critical solutions. You will combine business understanding, technical awareness and project-management-oriented delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and implement our business unit digital roadmap
  • Translate business needs into clear digital demands
  • Act as the interface between business stakeholders, product owners and technical delivery teams.
  • Assess solution options, define scope, secure resources and execution.
  • Manage multiple digital initiatives, dependencies, risks and stakeholders in parallel.
  • Support digital roadmaps and lead the integration of our technologies into our One Product Platform and wider system landscape.
  • Create and lead our digital initiatives from demand specification through implementation, deployment and adoption.
  • Own the lifecycle management of our business-critical digital solutions.
  • Establish structure, governance and transparency across our digital portfolio.

Further down the road, we see an expansion of this team, and for you to grow the team and have personnel responsibility.

Travel is part of the job and you will visit our Danish and Swedish offices frequently as well as have 10-20 international travels per year. You will be part of a team of six experienced individuals reporting to Luis Diaz, a strategic, empowering and results-oriented manager with a strong focus on accountability and collaboration. The team values good relationships and being able to have a laugh at work, an optimistic approach will come in handy when driving digital enterprise in our complex business.

Who are you

We are looking for a forward-thinking person who keeps their eye on the prize, meaning – you bring strategy and vision, prioritize and follow up. To succeed in this role we believe you are highly structured, adaptable and curious, with a strong ability to learn quickly and create clarity in complex environments. You combine analytical and project management skills with strong stakeholder communication and are comfortable translating between business requirements, technical considerations and execution.

Internal collaboration and networking are key, which is why we believe you thrive in a context where you get to collaborate cross-functional with different people and cultures and are able to build constructive relationships and contribute to a good team atmosphere.

What you know

The position has a strong front-end focus and requires understanding business challenges, developing clear demand specifications, assessing solution options, securing resources and coordinating execution. While you are not expected to develop all solutions independently, you must have sufficient technical understanding to assess feasibility, challenge proposed approaches and work effectively with development and architecture teams.

Requirement:

  • Experience in a similar role and business-facing digitalization
  • Experience of implementing ERP systems and tools, creating digital roadmaps and new ways of working, preferably in larger global companies
  • Sufficient technical understanding to engage effectively with development and architecture teams
  • Strong experience in project and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Merit:

  • Experience from personnel responsibility/leadership roles
