Alfa Laval CorHex invites you to strengthen our expanding team in Gimhae, South Korea where we manufacture our compact high pressure diffusion welded Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger. You will be joining a great team with a diverse international background that love what they do. This close team forms the global engineering centre of excellence serving our developing Energy and Marine business.

Key responsibilities of position (Job Description)

• Act as a trusted business advisor to the factory management team, providing vital information and recommendations for informed decision-making.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting, business analysis, and the financial performance of the factory. Communicate proactively on business-impacting events.
• Lead the quarterly forecast and annual budget processes, including data preparation, review, and presentations to various management levels.
• Oversee the annual costing update process, aligning with BU Operations and Group policies.
• Develop and implement financial controls and operational processes, ensuring robust internal controls are in place.
• Participate fully in the current factory transformation, introducing new working methods and improvement suggestions.
• Maintain effective communication with the BU Air Business partner regarding factory performance and support the growth initiatives of the Company.
• Collaborate with the Factory Manager and influence operating aspects of the company.
• Contribute to the development of the Location’s strategic plan.
• Provide leadership and support to functions outside the Controller’s direct responsibilities, including Purchasing, Product Development, Sales and Marketing, and Operations.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and professional development.
• Follow all safety policies and encourage safe behavior within the team.
• Ensure fiscal discipline, accuracy, and integrity within the Location.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain a professional and cooperative demeanor.

Requirements / Qualification (자격요건)

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years as a plant controller or cost manager in a discrete manufacturing environment, utilizing standard and job costing.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in process improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI experience is a plus.
• Experience in an international company is beneficial.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Positive customer service attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
