Responsible for identifying business opportunities within the Starch Sweeter, Prepared food, Synthetic biology and beverage industry and concluding direct and channel sales of Alfa Laval evaporation system as long as heat exchanger solutions.
Sales manager level position demonstrating a good level of solution know-how competence, deep industry resource, business acumen, able to act independently and take on additional responsibilities.

  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval evaporation solution in Starch sweeter, Prepared food and Synthetic biology industry.
  • Analyze and understand market insights and the customer’s buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business unit strategy and targets.
  • Look for and manage leads from the market and customers, and convert them in real business opportunities in order to ensure the growing opportunity pipeline.
  • Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions with customers, focusing on customer needs understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.
  • Runs the commercial operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools. Build and maintain a sufficient network at customers.
  • Develop highly profitable quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up, and to get a hit-rate.
  • Use the OneCRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.
  • Work proactive and structured with the sales in order to optimize the sales efficiency.
  • Work with national channels to collaborate resource to meet sales target.

Knowledge:

  • 10+ years sales or application experience preferably in Starch sweeter, prepared food, Synthetic biology and beverage industries or evaporation systems application
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, e.g. major in mechanical engineering, food, biochem & hygienic processing, etc.

  • Hunter sales profile

  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good interpersonal communication
  • Cross-cultural awareness
  • Strong networking skills; internally and externally
  • Have large project sales, follow up, daily contact, negotiation ability
