About the job:

Perform engineering, design, sales support and project management for process plants for vegetable oil technology (VOT) & starch technology applications.

As part of the role, you will:

• Provide interface-assistance with sales and Engineering & Supply (E&S) at external customers and other Alfa Laval sites.

• Prepare mass and energy balance, main equipment list, specifications of equipment, P&ID´s and functional descriptions for appointed projects.

• Organize and execute engineering activities for appointed projects based on customer requirements and applicable standards and codes.

• Drive improvement of technical solutions and secure best technology in engineering and processing designs to the benefit of customers, including development of new solutions to ensure competitive advantage.

• Develop and enhance engineering process for VOT (including reviews, knowledge transfer)

What you know:

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering or foreign equivalent, and:

• Three (3) years of related experience in performing engineering, design, sales support and project management for process plants with applications in VOT and starch technology and commissioning in fats and oils industry.  

• Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to 30% of time each year
