About the job
In this role, we are seeking two new Project System Engineers, who will be responsible for delivering products and solutions for assigned projects according to established standards and procedures. You will maintain and develop high-level process technology expertise, ensuring technical clarification of new orders prior to initiation, in collaboration with Project Execution functions. Some of your main tasks include:
Overall technical responsibility within defined boundaries in multidisciplinary project teams, including system, mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines.
Preparing approval documents and creating detailed working documents for design purposes.
Support Project Management and Order Engineering by responding to requests such as approval comments, customer technical comments, and class technical comments, and by analyzing proposed changes and deviations from customers.
Implementing and coordinating technical changes in orders initiated by the Project Manager and customers.
Accountable for timely follow-up and delivery of all engineering deliverables throughout the entire project.
Preparing built documents to hand over to service.
About you
You are a proactive and results-driven person who quickly analyses complex information, identifies root causes of issues, makes informed, evidence-based decisions, and implements effective solutions. Building relationships is one of your strengths, as you work effectively across departments to ensure alignment and shared goals. You take ownership of deliverables and follow through on commitments. Your customer focus is evident in your responsiveness, providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries. You actively listen to customers to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring their needs are met.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical background.
You have a least 2 – 4 years of experience working with industrial, marine equipment or engineered systems.
You have a basic understanding of process equipment such as pumps, instruments, and control systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional experience from either merchant fleets, yards, or other suppliers from the marine industry.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
