The Engineering Team is looking for a Proposal Engineer in Monza site (Regular contract)

What about the job

Manage medium/high complexity Quotations for the realization of Fuel Conditioning and Centrifugal High Speed Separators skids (mainly in the Marine business, but also for Oil&Gas and Industrial Plants).

Have complete end responsibility over assigned quotations, including:

• Handling and coordination of cost calculation for modules and systems based on Alfa Laval standard concepts and customer requests.

• Analize customer specifications and find proper deviations from customer requirements.

• Prepare quotation documentation and evaluate quotation texts.

• Support in the development of the quotation risk assessment, submitting the detailed cost calculation.

• Secure close cooperation between Sales Company, Sales Unit and E&S in the selection of technical solutions and cost levels.

• Ensure competitive costing in close cooperation with Purchasing Department.

• Improve and optimize standard solutions to enhance our competitiveness.

• Maintain the cost database for the actual application.

• Support to PM during project execution.

What you know 

• Mechanical engineering degree or similar.

• At least 5 years experience as Proposal Engineer in “Process” industry (pumps, heat exchangers, valves, filters, etc) with multi-disciplinary competences (Process, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Automation).

• Fluent spoken and written English
