Start your career with a global impact – Global Sales & Project Engineer

Are you a recent graduate with a technical degree and an interest in technology, business and international opportunities? Do you want to work with customers and colleagues around the world while building strong technical and commercial skills?

Then you might be the person we are looking for.

At Framo, we develop and deliver advanced pumping systems for the maritime industry. Our technology plays an important role in the global transport of chemicals and other products at sea.

With increasing market activity, we are strengthening our commercial team in Bergen and are looking for a Global Sales & Project Engineer to join our Marine Business Department.

A role where technology meets business

You will develop a broad skill set across engineering, sales, project execution and customer relations.

Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will gradually take responsibility for your own customers and projects. Your work will include:

  • Working with ship owners, energy majors, shipyards and other international customers
  • Developing technical system specifications and commercial quotations, including technical and commercial analysis and calculations
  • Taking increasing responsibility for sales and project execution, from the initial customer request through to order and contract handling
  • Coordinating and following up projects together with customers and internal teams
  • Participating in technical discussions and commercial negotiations
  • Building relationships across different countries and cultures
  • Travelling internationally and representing Framo and our technology in the global market

No two days are quite the same. One day you may be developing a technical solution with an engineer, the next discussing a project with a customer on the other side of the world.

What can you expect from us?

We believe the best way to learn is by combining responsibility with support.

From day one, you will work with real projects and customers as part of an experienced and collaborative team.

You can expect:

  • Hands-on learning, close support and opportunities to take on responsibility early
  • Collaboration with experienced engineers, sales professionals and project managers
  • International travel and direct customer involvement from an early stage
  • Opportunities to build a career within Framo and the Alfa Laval Group
  • A strong professional network across countries and functions
  • A collaborative and inclusive working environment
  • Competitive salary, good pension and insurance arrangements
  • Social, sporting and team-building activities with colleagues

What are we looking for?

You have recently completed, or are about to complete, an MSc

or equivalent technical degree. Your field of study could be engineering, technology, maritime studies or another relevant discipline.

More importantly, we are looking for someone who is:

  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Interested in both technology and business
  • Comfortable communicating with different people and cultures
  • Confident using digital tools and interested in developing efficient ways of working
  • Structured and able to take initiative
  • Service-minded and solution-oriented
  • Able to work independently while also enjoying teamwork
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Previous work experience is not a requirement.

We are interested in your potential and motivation to learn.

Location: Nygårdsgaten 95, Bergen
