About the job

We are looking for a Senior Product & Application Expert in Industrial Flow to join our dynamic team at Alfa Laval. This role is central to driving technical excellence, supporting sales activities, and mentoring colleagues globally. You will be the go-to expert for industrial applications, including distillery, industrial fermentation, and edible oil processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop, own, and share in-depth application know-how for established industrial flow applications.
• Support Sales Companies (SC) and Global Sales in lead generation and quotation activities.
• Assist SCs in positioning Alfa Laval solutions during customer meetings, providing technical guidance and expertise.
• Conduct internal and external training sessions to strengthen knowledge across the organization.
• Mentor and guide global technology teams, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to projects that drive innovation and optimize customer solutions.

This position is based in our office in Kolding, Denmark, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 20 days per year. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team, influence global operations, and be part of pioneering solutions in industrial flow technology.
 

What You Know

• A degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, chemical, or process engineering) or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience in technical roles within industrial or process engineering environments.
• Strong technical expertise in pump technology and related process equipment, with the ability to apply knowledge effectively to solve real-world challenges.
• Experience supporting customers directly, delivering training, and mentoring colleagues across diverse teams.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and accessibly for colleagues and customers alike.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a proactive approach to driving results.
