About the job

Parts Distribution and Logistics (PDL) in Alfa Laval has the main responsibility of distributing spare parts to our sales companies and end customers through our Distribution Centres around the world. In India we also are responsible of distributing Capital Sales Finished Goods and project orders. We are now looking for a Project Manager to support PDL to grow our business further. You will be part of the PDL team in Pune.

Your main responsibilities will be to identify, plan, drive and implement improvement projects where we can enhance our business and processes.

Projects can be related to:

• Supply Chain end-to-end analysis and optimizations. Drive of initiatives which are cross functions and with a wide scope from sourcing to customer delivery
• Supply Chain Network initiatives. Drive of projects linked to the footprint and use of our distribution centers
• LEAN projects
• Improvement areas related to internal processes and distribution to end-customer

The position is located in Pune and reports to Factory Manager APDC. Domestic travels to our different sites within India could occur.

What you know

We’re looking for a Project Manager with 8-10 experience from working with supply chain and LEAN initiatives, preferably in an international environment. We believe that you have experience from driving supply chain and LEAN related projects, and it is a benefit if it has been related to distribution of spare parts or similar. You have a university degree, e.g. in Engineering, System Science or Business Administration and are fluent in English. It is a benefit if you have experience from working within functions of logistics, order handling or similar.
