Heavy metal is our soundtrack. For 140+ years, we've worked with our hands, trusted our instincts, and built machines that the world depends on. That kind of dedication makes it personal – and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Stage dives aren’t just for rock stars

Welcome to a place where teamwork is the thing. For over a century, the people on our floors have worked side by side – catching each other, backing each other up, and taking real pride in what they build together. What can we say, stage dives aren't just for rock stars. Here, we trust each other to show up, pull through, and carry things forward. No matter your background, it's your commitment and your dedication that drive progress.

4 things that make
working here different

#1 Your safety is
non-negotiable

We are truly dedicated to build a safe workplace. Every shift, every site,
every colleague looks out for the next.
Because going home in one piece is the
most important part of the job.

#2 Leaders
who listen

We're super proud to have team leaders and supervisors who work with you, not over you. Here, your voice will be heard.

#3 Dedicated people
(and awesome machines)

We work with machines we care about – and people who take pride in every detail. Around here, both are part of the team.

#4 Benefits that make
a real difference

Competitive pay, stable hours, health and wellness support. At Alfa Laval, our benefit package is a signal that we value what you bring every single day.

It’s personal

We're extremely passionate about the details. For some, it's a sound. For others, a surface, a space, a weld. Not everyone gets it.

For Aadhya Vijapure, Field Service Engineer, it's the vibration. Two to three millimetres per second. No more, no less. That's how you know the machine is running right.

Not everyone gets it.
It's personal.

For Andrea Castilla Dechamp, Field Service Engineer in training, it's what you don't see. A cylinder on the outside. A world of parts within. Start it up and barely a sound. That's when you know it's perfect.

Not everyone gets it.
It's personal.

For Mayerly Romero, Machine Operator, it's the magic in the space between the discs. And reaching where automation can't go.

Not everyone gets it.
It's personal.

It's all about the heat. The buzz and the blue light. Making welds that hold against forces thousands of times stronger than gravity. To Amadeus Eriksson, Welder, it's personal.

Not everyone gets it.
It's personal.

Tell me if you get bored.

That’s the first thing my manager at Alfa Laval said. He thought the job might not keep me going. But that was before he knew me. I don’t get bored when things run smooth. I thrive on it.

I’ve always been into speed: cars, engines, skiing low to go faster. I love the rush. That’s why I trained as a mechanic. At first, I loved it, the buzz of engines and testing cars. But after a while, the mess got to me. As much as I like speed, I like order too. At home, I stack the dishwasher the same way every time. Some call it obsessive. I call it peace of mind.

So, I joined a warehouse as a driver. But I couldn’t just sit still. Instead, I learned everything: logistics, stock, packing, returns. Soon I was leading the team. But the work got too uniform, and I needed more variety.

At Alfa Laval, I’ve found the right balance: order, routine and challenge. My manager makes sure I get that mix. He knows I get the same thrill from fitting a giant box into a truck with millimetres to spare as I do from keeping everything in its place.

Lois, Assembler

You can walk into any room and figure it out.

That’s the confidence my mother instilled in me. When I left teacher training college after my first year, I wasn’t sure what would come next. But my mum had raised me to adapt to new situations and connect with anyone, so stepping into something completely different felt natural.

I never imagined I’d be assembling large heat exchangers, but the physical side of the job didn’t faze me. Years of horse riding and growing up roughhousing with my brothers taught me that when you fall, you don’t break. You just get back up.

What I enjoy most is the people. There are so many different personalities to connect with. And best of all, you can come exactly as you are and feel welcomed.

Proud, passionate and slightly obsessed

Join us behind the scenes at Alfa Laval and experience our passion for people - and machines.

Channel Sales HFH Caitlin Johnson isn’t your average introverted engineer. She does her best to travel around the country to get more people to like Alfa Laval – and her.

Team Leader Anders Wester is especially devoted to the gasketed plates in our heat exchangers. He takes real satisfaction in seeing them work their magic.

Team Lead Willie Davis learned one rule in his first week at Alfa Laval. He’s been teaching it to others ever since: just come in and do your best. Everything else will take care of itself.

Let’s pioneer positive impact
