Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

As a Brand Specialist, you will support the consistent execution of the Alfa Laval Ocean brand across multiple touchpoints. The role operates within an internal agency-style setup, where you collaborate with different teams and translate brand guidelines into clear, practical outputs across digital and physical channels.

This is a hands-on role combining coordination, content production, and visual execution. You will work closely with Marketing, Digital, Sales, Product, and Events teams, contributing to brand consistency by delivering structured, high-quality materials and supporting teams in applying our visual identity correctly.

You will work with:

  • Brand touchpoints across social media, websites, apps, events, and customer journeys

  • Creation and adaptation of digital and physical assets (presentations, banners, brochures, visuals, simple animations)

  • Supporting teams in applying brand guidelines through templates and structured tools

  • Maintaining and expanding our asset library (images, graphics, video content, reusable components)

  • Short-form video and content production using tools such as Adobe Express, Clipchamp, or Storykit

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Product teams, Events, and external partners

You will work closely with our Digital Marketing team to ensure brand consistency across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and adapt marketing materials for online and offline channels

  • Support implementation of brand guidelines across global teams

  • Design assets for web, social media, email campaigns, blogs, and customer content

  • Produce simple motion graphics and visual content where needed

  • Coordinate visual deliverables for events and campaigns

  • Support internal stakeholders with templates, decks, and on-brand materials

  • Contribute to smaller design or content projects and ensure timely delivery

  • Maintain brand tools, templates, and the asset library

Who are you

We’re looking for a Brand Specialist who enjoys working hands-on with brand execution in an internal agency-style environment, where collaboration, speed, and structured delivery are key.

You are comfortable contributing within established frameworks, supporting multiple stakeholders, and turning brand guidelines into clear, practical outputs across channels.

You should be:

  • Visually driven, with a good eye for layout, clarity, and brand consistency

  • Hands-on and fast, able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality

  • Curious and proactive, identifying opportunities to improve processes and outputs

  • Collaborative, working effectively with Marketing Communications and cross-functional stakeholders

  • Detail-focused, ensuring accuracy and consistency across materials

What you know

To succeed, you should have:

  • A few years of experience in a graphic design, brand, or marketing role within an international environment

  • Experience working with visual identity systems and applying brand guidelines

  • Hands-on skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; After Effects is a plus)

  • Basic motion or video editing experience is an advantage

  • Experience with CMS platforms, publishing tools, and basic SEO understanding

  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear visual content

  • Strong English communication skills

The role is based in Flemingsberg or Lund, Sweden, reporting to the VP Marketing & Communications, Marine Division.

What’s in it for you?

You will join a collaborative Marketing & Communications team where you can build strong hands-on experience working with a global brand. The role offers exposure across multiple channels and stakeholders, providing a solid foundation for developing within brand and marketing operations.
