About the job
In this role, you will be responsible for our Marine products, including Boiler, Burner, and Gas Combustion Unit Systems. Your main responsibilities will include executing projects within the defined scope, creating technical drawings and documentation, generating item requirements in the ERP system, finalizing product design, and updating mechanical components to meet project-specific requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing technical specifications, drawings, class approvals, and other project-related documents.
Designing project-specific solutions according to customer requirements.
Ensuring mechanical systems are compliant and fit for purpose based on capacity, flow, strength, design, etc.
Leading yourself to deliver tasks to internal stakeholders on time.
Collaborating with engineers in the global competence network.
Participating in a continuous improvement culture, always seeking smarter ways of working.
Building relationships with our factory in China to ensure smooth manufacturing
Completing other tasks assigned by your direct manager.
About you
You are a skilled professional with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working seamlessly with diverse teams to achieve common goals. Your keen attention to detail ensures precision in all your tasks, while your exceptional time management skills help you meet deadlines consistently. You are culturally aware, valuing diverse perspectives and fostering an inclusive workplace. You approach your work in a structured manner yet remain open to innovative ideas and new ways of thinking. Your critical eye allows you to evaluate situations thoroughly and make informed decisions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Technical Design, or related fields.
Proficiency in mechanical design software, such as AutoCAD and Inventor/Vault.
Experience in reading and understanding P&I Diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Teamcenter, a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
Experience with pressurized applications such as boilers is advantageous but not mandatory.
Knowledge of tools like 5S, Six Sigma, and Certified GB is a plus.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
