We are currently looking for a Technical Designer to join the Process Engineering team at Alfa Laval Kraków.

Location: Alfa Laval Kraków, ul. Zawiła 56, 30-390 Kraków, Poland.

Your responsibilities:

  • Create and update technical documentation and engineering drawings for development, standardization, and customer projects

  • Develop P&ID diagrams, detailed drawings, and layouts for systems and equipment

  • Design and model components and technical solutions using CAD software in both 2D and 3D environments

  • Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and component lists for project execution

  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, production, purchasing, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery

  • Coordinate and manage your own design activities in line with project schedules and business requirements

  • Maintain and manage technical documentation and drawing databases

  • Implement engineering changes and participate in Change Management processes, including Design Notification handling

  • Provide technical support to internal stakeholders throughout all stages of project execution

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with Lean, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies

  • Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications

Our expectations:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical field

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position within a manufacturing or production environment

  • Practical experience working with AutoCAD and Inventor

  • Ability to read, interpret, and create technical documentation and engineering drawings

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently

  • Good command of written and spoken English, enabling effective communication in an international environment

  • Proactive mindset, strong teamwork skills, and a solution-oriented approach
