About the job

As Unit Manager, you will play a key leadership role within Parts, Distribution & Logistics (PDL), shaping the future of the office organization at Distribution Centre Lund. As a member of the DC Lund Management Team, you will lead the function from a strategic, business, and organizational perspective, ensuring the organization has the structure, leadership, and capabilities needed to support long-term growth and operational excellence.

Stakeholder management is a key part of this role. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders, global functions, and customers while contributing to the strategic direction of the Distribution Centre. By building strong relationships and creating alignment across a complex international organization, you will help drive business performance, organizational development, and future growth.

This is a fully on-site position based in Lund.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the organization through direct-report managers, driving business performance, leadership excellence, and organizational development.

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the office organization in alignment with the overall strategy for Distribution Centre Lund.

  • Build and strengthen a high-performing management team by coaching managers, clarifying accountability, and driving performance.

  • Drive organizational development by strengthening leadership capabilities, succession planning, and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Own the function's governance model, KPIs, budget, and executive-level performance reporting to ensure business objectives are achieved.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen customer value, and support operational excellence.

  • Represent the function within the DC Lund Management Team and collaborate closely with global functions, customers, and senior stakeholders.

  • Ensure effective risk management, compliance, and internal controls within the area of responsibility.

Who are you

You are a strategic leader who builds organizations through people. You create direction, empower managers, and foster a culture where accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement drive both individual and business performance. Developing leaders, building trust, and enabling others to succeed are at the core of your leadership style.

You thrive in complex, international environments where balancing competing priorities is part of everyday business. Combining strategic thinking with operational understanding, you confidently engage senior stakeholders, influence decisions, and lead change while keeping both customer value and long-term business success in focus.

What you know

To succeed in this role, you bring extensive leadership experience together with a strong understanding of business, organizational development, and strategic execution. We believe our ideal candidate has:

  • Relevant university degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Several years of documented experience leading managers and developing high-performing leadership teams.

  • Experience as a member of a management team, influencing business strategy and collaborating with senior stakeholders in complex organizations.

  • Proven experience leading organizational transformation, change management, and digitalization initiatives.

  • Proven track record of business accountability, including responsibility for financial performance, quality, safety, and business objectives.

  • Experience working within an international matrix organization is considered a strong advantage.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
