Who you are
You are self‑driven and ambitious, always looking for business opportunities and motivated by developing customers in a complex technical environment within the life science & pharmaceutical industries. You are a strong networker and influencer who naturally builds trust and long‑term relationships across multiple stakeholders.
You plan your work in a structured and disciplined way, thrive with responsibility, and are comfortable managing customers across different countries. You enjoy spending time with customers and have no issues travelling frequently in the Nordic region.
About the job
You will be commercially responsible for selected existing customers as well as new business development within life science industries across Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
Your primary focus will be selling Alfa Laval’s portfolio of separation solutions (high‑speed separators, decanters, membrane systems) and developing strategic accounts through structured sales and Key Account Management. You will be based in Denmark, but expected to travel regularly across all three markets.
Key tasks
Conduct frequent customer visits in Denmark, Sweden and Norway to identify potential, develop opportunities and drive projects forward
Build and maintain account plans for key customers across the region
Prepare quotations, manage negotiations and close deals
Actively manage your sales pipeline through structured planning and consistent CRM updates
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to secure technical and commercial alignment
Participate in relevant webinars, exhibitions, seminars and life science industry events in the Nordic region
Drive proactive market development activities to strengthen Alfa Laval’s position in life science processing.
What you know
Proven experience in technical B2B sales, ideally within pharma/biotech/process industries
A relevant educational background such as engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, mechanical/process engineering or similar
Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
Experience working across country borders is a plus
Excellent communication skills in Danish and English (Swedish or Norwegian is an advantage)
Able to work in a self‑driven, structured and consistent manner, with high CRM‑discipline and pipeline transparency
