About the job
Alfa Laval has several global group functions based in Lund, Sweden, including Human Resources, Group Communications, and Group Affairs. In this role, you will work closely with these areas to drive the global agenda and provide financial follow-up and insights.
As a Business Controller, you will act as a strategic partner to Alfa Laval’s management, helping to create a unified perspective on business performance. Throughout the year, you will be involved in business planning, quarterly forecasting, and both regular financial follow-ups and ad-hoc projects . Your role will be to both support and challenge the respective management teams.
This position is based in Lund, reporting to the Manager Group Controlling & FP&A. The Group Controlling function is part of the Finance Transformation department, and you will participate in various change initiatives. Our team works to standardize and harmonize finance processes, implement modern digital solutions, and deliver superior analytics and insights.
Who are you?
You have a strong business acumen and understand the drivers behind financial results. You are comfortable navigating and influencing within an international matrix organization. We value those who challenge the status quo and seek continuous improvement, so you should be eager to embrace and drive change. Your open and informal communication style makes it easy for you to collaborate and contribute to a positive team spirit.
What you know
5–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in business controlling, preferably within an international matrix organization
Strategic mindset and experience supporting business decisions
Proficient in Power BI for analysis
University degree in Finance and/or Business Administration
Fluent in English
