About the job

You will work in a team with a regional focus – for you, the Americas. You will promote and grow the Evaporation Systems sales in that region. You will drive sales activities together with the available sales channels, regional salespeople in the sales company, as well as other channels, by providing commercial expertise as well as product, system, and application know-how. Be part of a truly global team of dedicated sales and engineering specialists.

Your responsibilities:

  • Secure growth and profitability in the sales of evaporation systems in the region.

  • Secure increased lead generation in the region

  • Follow-up of opportunities in the region and make tactical plans with the sales companies to secure orders

  • Support regional sales with market insights and actionable business plans for evaporation systems

  • Motivate, inspire, coordinate, and actively support the regional sales resources for Evaporation Systems

  • Promote Alfa Laval evaporation technology to the industry through online presence, as well as customer interaction and industry communities

  • Provide product & process training to sales representatives & agents within Alfa Laval’s network

At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is at our Lund or Søborg office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 55 – 65 days per year.

What you need for this role

  • A degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Proven experience working with complex process systems — ideally within the food, dairy, beverage, or similar industries

  • Commercial experience, with a strong track record in technical sales or sales support of engineered/process solutions

  • Demonstrated ability to manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and high-value projects

  • Solid business acumen — able to translate customer needs into value-adding solutions

  • Experience collaborating across functions (engineering, project management, service) to deliver customer outcomes

  • Confidence in engaging with both technical specialists and senior decision-makers
