About the job
We are seeking an innovative Data Engineer with expertise in data science and engineering to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Azure Services, with extensive experience in data exploration, identifying use cases as well as developing and maintaining algorithms for automatic processing of data into valuable insights. You will be responsible for optimizing existing solutions and implementing new cutting-edge technologies to enhance our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Make sense of data to bring peace of mind, cost- and time savings to our customers
Setting up, maintaining and improving data pipelines, framework and architecture
Exploring data to find new use cases and detect issues and faults
Provide data-driven decision-making support
Implement cloud-based algorithms to extract valuable features from timeseries telemetry data, among other sources
Communicate findings to stakeholders
Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation within agreed timeframes, cost, and quality standards
Practice Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure code quality and reliability
Design and implement scalable microservices architectures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Who are you?
You are an independent, quick learning and experienced person with problem-solving skills and attention to detail and quality of output. Being part of a team is something that gives you energy and that extra push. You´re structured and driven, with the ability to see the big picture, self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize, take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Developing yourself as well as your colleagues comes natural to you. An interest in industrial machines, its applications, sensors and performance optimization is a big bonus.
What you know
Our environments are based on Microsoft. Due to the complexity in the existing solution, the role requires and extensive set of skills:
Experience of working with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps
Hands on experience working with SQL and Timeseries databases, specifically Postgres and InfluxDB
Proficiency in Python and Azure services
Knowledge of machine learning and MLOps techniques and tools for data visualization and exploration
Competence in how to ensure data integrity, accuracy, consistency and overall quality
Knowing how to deal with a multitude of different data formats, APIs and data bases
Experience of writing unit tests
We would like to see that you have some years of experience in the areas mentioned above.
