Role Summary
As a Digital Solutions & AI Student Associate, you will develop intelligent digital solutions that combine software engineering, AI/ML, and data analytics to support business operations and decision-making. You will work on systems, automation, and data pipelines while transforming data into actionable insights through dashboards and visualizations.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across sales, service, R&D, production, and IT to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical and analytical solutions.
This role is within the Digital Enterprise team in Business Unit Separation Technologies (BU SET) at Alfa Laval, where we drive digital transformation through innovative, data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business processes across our global organization.

You are technically curious, analytical, and motivated, with an interest in building intelligent solutions that create business value. You enjoy working at the intersection of software development, AI, and data analytics, and are eager to learn and grow in a global environment with many stakeholders and touchpoints.
You have a good understanding of business processes and an interest in exploring new digital technologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
· Apply AI/ML techniques to explore and solve business challenges
· Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and data visualizations
· Extract, clean, and transform data using Python, SQL, and related tools
· Translate business needs into digital and data-driven solutions
· Document technical decisions, data models, KPIs, and workflows
· Support analytics in sales, product management, and operations
Qualifications
· Studying Computer Science, AI, Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or similar in Denmark and preferably Copenhagen
· Experience with Python and familiarity with one or more languages such as C#, Java, or similar
· Exposure to data tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel
· Interest in cloud platforms (Azure is a plus) and APIs
· Strong analytical and communication skills with an ability to document work clearly
· Interest in AI/ML, automation, and data-driven decision-making
· Interest or experience in frontend/UX is a plus
