Main purpose of the job / Mission:
Regional Category Management
Key Tasks & Responsibilities :
Regional Supplier Management
Manage Supplier relationship & build a strong network of performance driven suppliers. Monitor Compliance & KPI’s of Supplier regarding safety – Quality – Delivery – Cost. Maintian price agreement with quarterly Updation of price lists. Support Global category management team in deploying supplier strategies in the Region. Market Scouting for Potential New Supplier based on Gaps in Category. Lead Resolutions for the identified Deviations in supplier performance. Supplier capacity Monitoring for identifying potential future bottlenecks & actions on same.
Sourcing Project Management
Participate in New Product Development / Localisation sourcing projects as regional lead. Provide Inputs from Region on suitability of Design for Manufacturing for cost optimisation. Secure Timely Execution of major Project Milestones & overall timeline. Work closely with regional Quality team to secure right first time test samples.
Stakeholder Management
Develop strong network with internal stakeholders from Category management team & Site Buying team, to support on any issues relting regional suppliers.
Cost Management
Continiously track local market trends for cost drivers & support commodity teams with local business acumen. Participate in VAVE activities for product cost optimization. Monitor Savings Projects to secure completion of Annual Savings Target.
SubCommodity CAPEX Management
Responsible to handle independently IP commodities – Capex Procurement for Alfa Laval PAN India locations. Responsible to work closely with Indirect Purchase Manager in Capex Procurement to optimize the cost, service levels, performance, and contractual terms from the suppliers. Responsible to handle Capex requirements like, CNC Machines, , Fixtures, Material Handling equipment’s, SPMS, Hydraulic Press, Material Racking Systems, Clean Room, Assembly Automation & AGVs. Responsible for managing the commodity expenditure of approx. 200- 250 MINR Responsible for understanding implement policies, compliance, and strategies with internal stake holders which are getting updated from time to time. Responsible for managing KPI's to achieve organization business goals.
