About the job
As Engineering Manager, you will lead and motivate a team of highly skilled design engineers, driving product development and product care for the PureBallast system.
Key responsibilities:
Lead, inspire, and develop the engineering team in product development and product care projects.
Ensure all new designs comply with applicable standards and regulations (IMO, USCG, Class, ISO, and internal requirements).
Provide technical support and verification for new designs.
Support supply chain and purchasing activities.
Drive and implement technical innovations.
Oversee resource planning, recruitment, and daily operations of the team.
Serve as a member of the R&D Management team.
This position is based in Flemingsberg, Stockholm and you can expect up to 15 days of travel annually.
What you know
University degree in Engineering or a related field provides a solid foundation for understanding technical aspects of the role.
5+ years of experience in leading teams of highly skilled specialists.
Experience of product development processes.
Experience from maritime industry is a merit.
Experience of explosion proof design is a merit.
Fluent in Swedish and English is a requirement.
