About the job
This is short -term assignment for 12 months where you will work with Clean Technologies Business Development to accelerate transformation of energy sector based on existing and emerging Alfa Laval technologies. The role will contain two exciting functions: Owner and leader of the Energy Division Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS) and Business developer for BU Gasketed heat exchangers (GPHE)You will work closely with technology specialists in our process sales organization, other Clean tech business developers in Energy division, and collaborate with colleagues located in Sales companies.
Your key focus areas will be:
Positioning of GPHE technology in transforming energy landscape in line with Business Unit GPHE strategy:
Develop/implement business plans covering the current and future Clean Tech applications, assure setting priorities based on continuous customer insights.
Monitor market trends, develop business proposals with GPHE experts, keep pipeline overview for zero emission applications, provide guidance to organizations including regional sales offices.
Create early engagement and build successful partnerships with external organizations.
Working in and/or leading cross functional teams in specific task forces / special projects
Drive and coordinate the business development area of the division and collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization.
Perform market outlooks, market studies, business potential estimates, product positioning.
Present Alfa Laval in external industry networks, events such as conferences and exhibitions
Compile external and internal communication material across every media platform
The position is located either in Lund (Sweden) or Soborg (Denmark). This is STA (short-term assignment) for 12 months. Some travels are part of the job. You report directly to the VP of Business Unit GPHE, and dotted line to VP Clean Technologies Energy Division.
Who you are
You are dynamic, resilient and curious, data driven with a genuine interest in sustainability. You can convert ambiguities into opportunities into clear plans and communicate it in a structured way.
At the same time, you’re a passionate entrepreneur who understands that business has to be long-term profitable if we are to change our future. You need to be a practical oriented business developer who leads the business by example and who has a teamwork approach.
Finally, you know how to influence at all levels in customer organizations as well as internally. You are confident in building and promoting new initiative.
What you know
You probably have already gained experience in initiating and supporting new business development within the area of sustainable clean technologies. Skills in data mining and analytics would be a bonus. You know how to navigate in a matrix organization and manage relations with proven success of leading project/development teams.
You have a master’s degree in business, technology or engineering. You’re fluent in written and verbal English.
