About the job
As our new Manager for Project Management, you will lead a globally distributed team responsible for executing customer projects in Service and Capital Sales. In this role, you may lead other team leaders as part of a layered leadership structure and are expected to champion a strong culture of safety, care, and accountability throughout the organization. Your primary mission is to ensure efficient, compliant, and customer-centric project delivery while driving continuous improvement, process governance, and strategic transformation initiatives, such as ERP transition interfaces and project system implementations. You will play a key role in shaping the future of project execution by professionalizing and commercializing the project management function, ensuring it delivers value to customers and internal stakeholders.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
Lead, develop, and inspire a global project management team, setting a high-performance standard while fostering a healthy, safe, and inclusive work environment. You will promote professional growth, open dialogue, and a culture of trust and respect as key enablers of sustained excellence.
Ensure consistent, professional project execution across all sites, aligning with contractual scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards.
Act as the functional process owner for Project Management, setting and governing ways of working, and process adherence.
Drive the implementation and operationalization of interfaces from ERP systems within the team, ensuring adoption and integration into daily project workflows.
Lead the deployment and anchoring of a new project management system, including performance monitoring, risk management, and reporting.
Promote compliance with internal guidelines, governance models, and external customer expectations throughout project execution.
Continuously strengthen the commercial profile of the project management function to support business goals and customer satisfaction.
Engage in proactive risk management and discrepancy handling to support timely and profitable project completion.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering or Engineering or a related field.
Proven leadership experience managing global or multi-site project management teams.
Strong understanding of project financials, planning, and customer communication.
Experience in process development, governance, and compliance within regulated environments.
Familiarity with compliance-driven environments and structured process ownership.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement structured ways of working.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid background in project execution, ideally within capital equipment or engineering-intensive industries.
Experience with ERP transitions and digital project tools (e.g., D365 or equivalent).
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
