About The Job
We are seeking a structured and execution-driven Order Change Lead to take ownership of managing engineering and supplier changes within backlog (work-in-progress) customer orders. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that order modifications are executed efficiently, minimizing disruption to cost, quality, and delivery timelines while supporting continuous improvement across projects.
As Order Change Lead, you will act as the central point of coordination for change execution, driving alignment across Engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality, and Project teams to ensure changes are evaluated, prioritized, and implemented effectively. You will work in a complex, cross-functional environment where decisions require balancing technical feasibility, commercial impact, and operational constraints.
Your key responsibilities include:
Take end-to-end ownership of change management for backlog (work-in-progress) orders, from defining options and evaluating impact to implementation and outcome measurement (cost, quality, time, etc.).
Lead and coordinate the execution of change orders, ensuring timely, accurate, and effective implementation across multiple ship series and projects.
Drive supplier and engineering changes on orders, supporting our supply chain strategy and design improvements to align with customer needs and strategic goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Inventory Control, Quality, Capital Project Execution, Engineering and change management to ensure seamless change execution.
Monitor and report on progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues or delays.
Ensure all documentation is complete and up to date, facilitating smooth transitions and compliance.
Prioritize change orders based on business needs, cost implications, and customer impact.
Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and feedback.

You are a result-driven professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. You excel at leading cross-functional teams, driving change, and delivering high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
What You Know
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in project management, change management, or a similar role within a technical or engineering environment. Experience with supplier management and process optimization is a plus.
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate the full lifecycle of change orders, from initiation to implementation, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with proven experience prioritizing and tracking multiple change orders in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, facilitating clear updates and effective collaboration across Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Documentation teams.
Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Power BI, Microsoft planner, ERP systems), supporting efficient planning, progress tracking, and reporting.
Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, driving continuous improvement in cost reduction and quality.
Detail-oriented self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, consistently delivering high-quality results that meet customer and business needs.
Experienced in leading or executing change initiatives within complex, cross-functional technical environments.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
