About the job
As our new Product Manager Service, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery and support of our services products to customers. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage the service offerings of our products (covering the whole range of service types, including customer training and digital services) that enhance customer satisfaction, drive adoption, and maximize the value of our products to drive the realization of our innovative marine energy solutions. You will work across our three product solution areas - Environmental Solutions, Heating Solutions, and Safety Solutions - in collaboration with the other product managers and cross-functional teams. In this role, you will take on a range of responsibilities, including:
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional/cross-country teams (sales, sales companies, engineering, operations, service & marketing) to develop and execute product service strategies.
Work closely with the sales team to support key customer accounts by providing technical expertise, conducting product training, and participating in customer visits and presentations.
Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the Marine Division's service solutions.
Monitor service performance metrics (profitability & volume), analyze customer feedback, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive lead generation and evaluate future service product opportunities based on cost-benefit analysis.
Define needs & demands for the development of service products and set priorities.
Lead early stages of service development projects and support project managers during pre-study phases.
Monitor service product portfolio delivery (on-time, within budget, quality) in collaboration with Product Development, Service, and Marketing Communications.
Lead & coordinate product launches, working with marketing teams to promote service products.
Develop and manage partnerships with service providers to enhance service capabilities.
Ensure service offerings are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the Service department strategy.
Ensure the service product provides a great user experience.
Collaborate with sales and marketing to effectively position and execute offerings in the market.
Collaborate and align with Global and other Marine BUs.

Required Qualifications:
You hold a degree in engineering or a related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
You have 5+ years of experience in a similar industry, bringing valuable technical expertise.
You have a keen understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, enabling you to make informed product decisions.
You are adept at interacting with customers, asking insightful questions, and listening carefully to identify their needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in service or field roles, providing you with practical insight and a hands-on understanding of customers’ needs and product performance.
As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite.
