About the job…
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of capital equipment projects, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction at every stage. If you’re a results-driven professional with a passion for managing technical projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this is your chance to thrive in an exciting, dynamic environment.
This is a hybrid onsite position located in Richmond, VA.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with sales teams to respond to customer inquiries, providing commercial and technical support during the bid process.
Review customer specifications, assess feasibility, and develop cost estimates for potential sales opportunities.
Work with colleagues in Purchasing to support maintenance and expansion of external supply chain network.
Review contract details for new orders and coordinate internal and external meetings to ensure a smooth handover from Sales to Project Management.
Oversee the execution of capital equipment contracts, ensuring profitability, schedule adherence, and strong customer relationships.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate cost accounting and financial forecasting for all projects.
Prepare and submit technical drawings and data for customer review. Ensure technical alignment with customers and secure release to manufacture to support project schedule.
Coordinate and support on-site commissioning of equipment.
Manage timely invoicing and revenue recognition for all projects.
What you know:
Bachelor’s degree Engineering preferred.
5 years of professional experience related to project engineering, project management, technical sales and/or sales support.
Travel expected up to 25% to resolve site issues or meet with customers fir kick-off meetings.
Ability to read technical drawings and documentation (P&ID´s, specifications, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
