Student Assistant - Pharma business development

  • Søborg
  • Part time

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the Role We are seeking a motivated and analytical student to join our team at the beginning of 2027. This role is ideal for someone interested in pharma market research and turning findings into actionable commercial insights that support our growth strategy. You will contribute to preparing for the planned external launch in Q2 2027, and this work may create a valuable longer-term talent-pipeline opportunity, potentially toward pharma product and application support or sales within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and application research into promising pharma segments, membrane applications, and customer needs.
  • Perform competitor intelligence covering competitors’ offerings, positioning, partnerships, and proven pharma references.
  • Map opportunities by identifying target accounts, investment projects, and potential partners in priority markets.
  • Consolidate findings into commercial insights with clear recommendations for prioritization and sales engagement.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (preferably in Life Science, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field).
  • Strong market research and analytical ability.
  • Ability to synthesize information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity about pharma markets and commercial strategy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team environment.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience in pharma market intelligence and commercial strategy.
  • Exposure to customer and competitor analysis in the membrane technology space.
  • Contribution to a high-profile external launch planned for Q2 2027.
  • Opportunity to develop skills in product and application support, with potential for long-term growth within the team.
  • Networking with professionals in the field.
