What is your educational background? 

Bachelor in Information Systems and Masters in Business with focus on finance.

Why did you choose to join Alfa Laval?

With its headquarters in Lund, Alfa Laval offered many opportunities to work locally while having an international impact.   

Tell us about your role here at Alfa Laval? 

As global process owner for product pricing, I have the opportunity to support the central Business Units in defining their strategic pricing targets and then communicating with all our sales companies to support them in implementing these.

Tell us about the culture and life at Alfa Laval?

Having worked in a few different organizations, I have always admired how willing people are to support each other when help is asked for.  It is quite a familial dynamic, where people are not helping due to selfish reasons but rather to truly help a colleague advance with solving their problems.

What role does innovation play in your function?

Due to the speed of information, pricing data is often required quite early in customer touch points.  I have had the pleasure of working in a few projects where significant improvements have been made saving our sales companies valuable time.  So quick proofs of concept are critical, while maintaining a clear fully integrated long-term target along the way.

How important is collaboration to you and your work? 

It is one of the most important aspects of successfully developing and implementing sustainable solutions.  First when gathering user requirements. Making sure we target solving the real issues and later on in development, verifying that we are moving in the right direction and if not daring to adjust as necessary. 

How do you see Alfa Laval pioneering positive impact, and how are you contributing to this?

I believe Alfa Laval has been at the forefront of developing technical solutions that are now being recognized as critical in modern society. Almost like the world is catching up in understanding the opportunities that we identified decades ago. My work is "in the basement" so to speak, it is primarily a facilitator for efficiently presenting solutions to our customers.
