Global Service Technology is a fundamental part of our daily service business, supporting sales companies technically in assisting our customers and securing the service readiness of our equipment: capabilities and competence in service execution.
About the job
You will be leading a team of highly competent colleagues, all critical for the daily technical support to meet our customers’ expectations. You will provide expert advice to sales companies, customers, and central teams on product and application-related matters. You’ll support technical spare parts inquiries as well as complex technical quotations for upgrades, together with your team. A key part of your role is to ensure service readiness - covering spare parts planning, service center capabilities, and the right competence in our service teams. You will also support the effective implementation of our pricing strategy across markets, for spare parts and upgrades. Your primary tasks will be:
Strategic development of the Global Service Technology organization
Develop strong relations with internal stakeholders
Provide and develop technical support to sales companies and the Global Service Operations organization (Technical helpdesk support, advanced troubleshooting, quotations, providing training, etc.)
Work together with the rest of the BU Service Management team to grow the Service business, according to the Global Service Vision and BU Strategy.
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is based at our Søborg office in Copenhagen, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 15 - 25 days per year.
What you know
You have a background in engineering and experience from a larger international organization - ideally in a similar role, such as Technical Support Manager. You combine strong technical expertise, particularly in centrifuges, with a solid understanding of processes and systems—knowledge of decanter centrifuges is a definite plus. You have a proactive business-centric mindset, enabling you to balance technical depth with strategic thinking and customer focus. You're skilled at networking and influence across a global organization, and you thrive in a close-knit team environment. With leadership experience under your belt, you are driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently toward clear targets.
