Framo is looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of HR who wants to contribute to our continued development as a workplace and as an organization.
This is an important leadership role where you will guide the HR team to support our leaders and help shape the future of HR at Framo.
About the Role
As our Head of HR, you will have overall responsibility for the HR function. You will lead a skilled team and work closely with colleagues across Framo and the Alfa Laval Group. Your role is both strategic and hands-on, and you will be an important partner for leaders, employees, and union representatives.

Main Responsibilities
Business Partner
- Support organizational, people and leadership development on the local level, and deploy HR Business plan for FRAMO to support the business strategy.
- Support Framo management in enhancing individual and team performance so that the organization can achieve their current and future business objectives.
- Be part of Framo management team and contribute in development and execution of Framo strategies and other projects and activities
- Coach, challenge and support local managers and facilitate culture change with the appropriate guidance
- This role also includes HR Business Partner responsibilities for Framo AS
Lead & Develop
- Provide clear and supportive leadership for the HR team, with a focus on cooperation, development, and well-being.
- Set direction for the HR function and ensure alignment with Framo’s business goals and values.
Drive Change & Strengthen HR (Essential)
- Take a leading role in shaping and improving our HR processes and ways of working.
- Drive change initiatives in a structured and inclusive way, ensuring good involvement and communication throughout the organization.
Collaboration with Unions
- Maintain a constructive dialogue with union representatives and ensure good cooperation.
- Lead or support negotiations related to collective agreements, reorganizations, and local processes.
Build Relationships & Influence
- Create trustful relationships across Framo and within the Alfa Laval Group.
- Contribute with clear HR insights and help leaders make well-grounded decisions.
- Foster teamwork and a culture where people feel involved and respected.
Background & Experience
We believe you will thrive in this role if you have:
- Master’s degree (HR, business, organizational development, etc.).
- Many years of experience in HR in a leadership position
- Strong, hands-on experience in leading change and HR transformation.
- Experience working with unions and navigating collective agreements.
- Broad HR knowledge, including talent development, employee relations, C&B, and HR operations.
- The ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and influence in a calm and constructive manner.
- Experience partnering with leaders in a complex or global organization, preferably within industrial or engineering environments.
- Good analytical skills and a comfortable relationship with data and HR metrics.
- Strong communication skills in English and Norwegian.
