About The Job
In this role, you will support both internal and external global customers with troubleshooting and technical advice related to the decanter, primarily focusing on mechanical parts and systems. You will play a key role in solving technical challenges, supporting service activities, and working closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure reliable and efficient solutions for customers.
Resolve technical service-related questions through the helpdesk
Troubleshoot decanters, with a primary focus on mechanical components and systems
Prepare technical quotations for engineering orders, including spare parts and upgrade kits
Contribute to spare parts planning to ensure availability and efficiency
Coordinate and drive projects together with other stakeholders across Alfa Laval, including Product Management and R&D
Identify, where relevant, new opportunities for growth through customer interactions and technical insights
At Alfa Laval, we embrace a hybrid work model, providing you the flexibility to work from home when it aligns with your tasks. This position is at our Copenhagen office, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 20 – 30 days per year.
What You Know
You bring strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of decanter technology, combined with insight into how mechanical process equipment performs in real industrial applications. Your background allows you to bridge engineering knowledge with practical use, ensuring solutions that create real value for customers.
Technical background such as Mechanical Engineering, Operations Engineering, Marine Engineer, or similar
Expert knowledge of decanter centrifuges is mandatory for this role
Solid understanding of mechanical process equipment and its role in industrial processes
Experience from the processing industry is an advantage
Knowledge of High-Speed Separators (HSS) is a plus, but not required
A combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience is highly valued
