About the job
The Technical Product manager (TPM) has the technical responsibility for the definition of the HSS Modules and product knowledge within the Product Center. The TPM significantly contributes to the implementation of new items/equipment’s into the Module Platform, to assure full operability and maintenance, together with cost saving initiative before going into production. The Technical Product Manager is together with R&D, Product Management and Global Sales responsible for delivering new and innovative solutions to customers.
The Technical Product Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the HSS modules remain cutting-edge, dynamically responding to market demands and supporting the company’s technological growth.
Product Development FCS & Modules, based in Monza, is responsible for the definition of the HSS (High Speed Separators) Modules standard for a wide range of applications, duties, and fluids. You will be part of building up this function in Tumba, in close cooperation with Global Sales and Product Center HSS.
The position is based in Tumba, Sweden. You will report to the Head of Product Development Fuel Conditioning Systems & Modules in Monza and have the Head of Marine Separation & Fuel Supply Systems as host manager in Tumba. This position offers significant international exposure, with the opportunity to collaborate with teams across various regions and markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing the HSS Modules Platform: Keep the HSS Modules Platform updated, planning document revision, implementing the change request, market demands, and request from Global Sales.
• Drive Cost saving initiatives: The TPM will also need to take a proactive approach in monitoring development and implementation costs, seeking optimization opportunities through innovative engineering solutions that improve efficiency and reduce long-term costs.
• Active Interface with Project Managers: Active interface with Project Managers and drivers of NPD/EPD Projects in the HSS Modules Portfolio.
• Budget and Resource Management: Keep the overall budget for the Product update: man-hours, timing, and quality. Accurate management of the budget, resources, and timing will be essential to ensure each product update meets the company’s quality standards while contributing to strategic objectives.
• Collaboration with other Teams: Interface with R&D HSS, E&S and Sourcing Team to explain the content of the HSS module updates. Continuous interaction with R&D, Product Management, and Global Sales teams will be key to ensuring smooth and timely implementation of changes, with constant alignment across functions.
What you know
You hold a bachelor’s degree within engineering and preferably proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a similar role in an engineering or product development environment. Experience in high-speed separator systems or similar industrial technologies is a plus. Previous experience and proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Inventor 3D and Office, are required. Additionally, you have knowledge of PDM system and PLM methodology.
You have previous experience in managing complex projects, ideally in high-speed separation or high-tech industrial sectors, where innovation and cost optimization are key, is required.
Since you will be working with a remote team, you have good communication and networking skills, and great cross-cultural awareness. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in the Marine, Engine Power, Energy or O&G industries will be an asset.
