About the role

We are looking for a Field Sales Engineer to join our Food Industry division, responsible for direct sales of Alfa Laval products and service solutions within a defined territory and customer base.

In this role, you will act as a key partner for customers in the food industry, understanding their processes and challenges, and delivering value-driven technical and commercial solutions that support their operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute established sales processes and guidelines to promote Alfa Laval products and services within the food industry
  • Actively engage with the market through customer visits, meetings and ongoing interactions
  • Understand customer needs and production processes to identify business opportunities
  • Develop and present value-based technical-commercial proposals, highlighting Alfa Laval’s unique selling points
  • Follow up on opportunities and ensure proper pipeline management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams (service, technical support, marketing) to ensure a strong value proposition
  • Contribute to the development of commercial strategies aligned with division goals

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical or similar)
  • Experience in technical sales, ideally within industrial equipment or food-related industries
  • Knowledge of food production processes (desirable)
  • Intermediate English level
